Her research interests include far-right extremism, anti-government extremism, and violent conspiracy theories. Her work has appeared in the Journal for Deradicalization, the Canadian Journal of Family and Youth, and Lawfare.

Brandon Prins is Professor and Head of Political Science at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. His research focuses on political violence, maritime crime and conflict, and research methods. He is the co-author of Pirate Lands: Governance and Maritime Piracy published by Oxford University Press in 2021.
