CVTRC, as part of Royal Holloway University, has research interests focused on understanding societies and cultures from new perspectives and generating thoughtful enquiry about the functioning of human societies and cultures. Their primary research strengths are in modern Europe, terrorism and radicalisation, and modern intellectual history, especially in the areas of political ideas, religion, and identity.

The International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT) is a think-and-do tank based in The Hague, Netherlands. ICCT provides research, policy advice, training and other solutions to support better counter-terrorism policies and practices worldwide and also contributes to the scientific and public debates in the fields of counter-terrorism and countering violent extremism, notably through our publications and events.

The mission of the ACSRT is to conduct research and study on Terrorism and develop strategic policy and operational and training mechanisms within the context of International and Continental legal instruments to strengthen the capacity of the African Union and its Member States to prevent and combat terrorism in Africa.

The Chatham House's mission is to help governments and societies build a sustainable, secure, prosperous and just world through dialogue, research and leadership, and examining the latest thinking on counter-terrorism strategies, ‘lone-wolf terrorism’, cyber terrorism, domestic terrorism and threats from jihadist groups. 

The International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research (ICPVTR) is a specialist centre within the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. ICPVTR conducts research, training, and outreach programs aimed at reducing the threat of politically motivated violence and mitigating its effects on the international system. 

The objective of the African Security Network is to promote democratically governed and effective security for the peoples of Africa and to enhance the capacity of African governments, security institutions, legislatures and civil society. ASSN has a wealth of experience and leadership in promoting democratic Security Sector Governance (SSG) and Security Sector Reform (SSR), with a broad and diverse membership of recognised professionals and academics.

The Combating Terrorism Center at West Point educates, advises, and conducts research to equip present and future leaders with the intellectual tools necessary to understand the challenges of terrorism and counter-terrorism. CTC offers diverse regional expertise on counter-terrorism topics and publications covering several relevant actors and groups. 

The Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) is now recognised as one of the most prestigious think tanks dedicated to the study of international dynamics. It is the only Italian institute – and among the very few in Europe – to support research with a significant commitment to training, conferences, analysis, and guidance on risks and opportunities worldwide for companies and institutions. ISPI investigates the issues of terrorism from both an Italian perspective and by analysing macro-trends relating to CT. 

An institution in Bangladesh for informed analysis on all aspects of a broad spectrum of peace and security studies in the region and beyond. It is a non-party, non-profit organisation and independent think tank which provides a platform for the leading strategic thinkers, academics, former members of the civil, foreign and armed services and media persons to chalk out a comprehensive framework for peace and security issues. The BIPSS is a member of the Advisory Board of Global Terrorism and contributes to the Asia-Europe dialogue on counter-terrorism.
